Wow, such an important piece. People don’t understand how harmful these products are for their own health and programming the health of the next generation(s). By affecting the microorganisms in soil, along with pollinators and other insects, our food sources are also impacted. And, of course, the many other species we share this earth with. Ban the ‘new’ Roundup NOW!

Reminds me of the way plastic bottles are now "BPA-free!" but the BPA has been replaced by something that's likely worse ... or the way the PFAS molecule PFOA was phased out by 3M (etc.) and replaced withe an even more toxic and mysterious alternative(s). Meet the new boss, same as the old boss ... These kinds of examples, of which your piece is a wonderful analysis, just highlight how much we must choose not to rely on industrial products. Their makers do not and cannot have our interests in mind, or the interests of our planet. And yeah, not being at war with the natural world would be a good start!
