While you're there, you might consider visiting the Luther Burbank Garden in Santa Rosa, if you haven't already. I have only visited the garden because the museum is closed in winter months. The garden alone made the visit worthwhile, but the museum is probably even more interesting. This time of year there would probably be some great pics in the garden. There is also a lovely walk along the river and some nice parks.

I think I know this place. I believe Nina used to live in a cabin there and before that a yurt on another part of it. I stayed there for a month with her once in that cabin. Gabe and I planted Camas bulbs there in a wet drainage and she said they came up and flowered the next year. I imagine they are still there if you want to look for them, you'd have to ask her for the location at this point.

Yeo, the Luther Burbank Garden i s definitely on my list! I am excited to visit. That man had an amazing connection with plants.
