You might know my work from Resilience, Counterpunch, or my blog, Macska Moksha Press. Perhaps you’ve read one of my books. On this Substack, I’ll be focusing on plant-related topics, including ecology, agriculture, wildtending, the importance of protecting habitat, and climate issues. I will also be throwing in some photography of plants, animals and their habitats. Long-time readers of my work might know me for my political writing, but here I will be staying away from politics except as how it relates to plants and nature.

The tentative title for the book is, “Don’t Blame the Messengers: A critique of the ‘invasive plant’ narrative.” (It’s an expansion of a zine we put out a few years ago.)
